親愛的網友們, 我肥來啦~!!! 謝謝陽光仙女博士打電話來關心, 還有薯媽的想念我都收到了, 等等會趕快去看乾兒子的, 哈哈哈哈哈哈哈............... 這幾天讓你們看了很多天的忍者龜報導, 哈哈哈阿哈哈哈阿.................. 我以前舊金山念Computer Art/New media的同學Lillian, 三年前畢業回去台灣工作了, 前幾天很難相信的她居然真的來LA看我這個孕婦, 好高興, 雖然只有短短的幾天, 不過這幾天我都好好的陪她, 帶她到處逛逛. Lillian先到舊金山一個星期, 然後飛到LA, 她的姪女馬上帶她去了賭城, 星期五晚上她又殺到我家, 只不過等Lillian到我家都已經半夜了............... 第一次三年後見面, 我這個孕婦讓她覺得很奇怪吧, 哈哈哈阿哈哈哈阿............. 不過Lillian可是一點都沒有變~
其實還好Lillian是Weekend來LA, 沒有車的我剛好現在上班的威爺可以帶我們到處走走, 如果是Weekdays, 我只好要到處找人帶我們了~! 星期五晚上當Lillian來到我們家, 我們還聊到半夜一二點才睡覺, 其實看得出來坐了好幾個小時車的Lillian都有點累了, 我們還是撐著聊了一會兒.
隔天星期六, 我就讓Lillian睡個夠, 中午帶她去吃她千想萬想吃到的In-n-Out! 看她吃得超滿足又開心的!

And girlfriend, you need to get yourself a car, or move to a more convenient place. Otherwise, how are you going to get around with Will at work all day?

Now that Janice has her own baby, she needs the car even more! At least from experience for me and people I know.
I remember Austin had Jaundice when he was born, and Austin's cousins too (many Asian babies do)! So we make frequent trips to the hospital. Plus immunization all the time for the first few months.
And staying at home 24/7 will drive new moms crazy and we can't rely on other people all the time. So we take the baby to playdates, to walk the mall, or to the park,
And most important, you'd never know when there will be an emergency when no one's around! Like the baby's running a high fever or the baby bumped her head on something, or what have you, and you need to get her to the hospital, or to the pharmacy and get some medicine. And sometime you need to go to the store to get some food or diapers or......
And the older they get, the more they need to go out, like the library, the playground, the toy store, or mommy and me classes (which sometime begin as early as 6 months)!
A lot of kids just like to cruise a round in a car and feel the motion. And many sleeps faster when they're in a car. So when a baby's having a tantrum or won't stop crying, sometime just putting them in a car and drive them around will calm them down and puts them to sleep. One of Austin's cousin falls asleep everything he's in a car, even if it's for 5-10 minutes. When he feels the motion, his eyes close, even now!
Of course that's just me and people I know! Unless if you're in Taipei or NYC where taxi are everywhere!

Well, about getting a car, I hope I can drive, but I cannot. Coz of my health and my body, I cannot drive at all. Thats why most of time I only go out with Will, my family, or my friends.
For me, so far, everything is going ok~!
