期待已久我們自己教會英文堂的VBS終於開始, 是以奉獻的方式, 只有T-Shirt需要付$10!
4歲以上的都可以來參加, 每天9AM-12:30PM!
我很愛讓小若雅暑假參加VBS, 開始上Public School之後, 學校完全沒有像Loving Savior有敬拜, 聖經故事, 禱告.... 剛好利用暑假的時間, 每天都有一個主題, 一個聖經故事, 甚至還需要背一段經文, 我覺得很棒!
我們教會的VBS應該算是目前看過最Organize的, 星期一開始的前一天主日在教會, 就已經可以先幫小朋友們Check-In, 這樣隔天才不會很多人要排隊Check-In, 我看應該有好幾百個小朋友們報名參加哩!!!
我一Check-In就拿到這個小袋子.....
裡面有需要接小若雅的Pass和名牌!
這名牌還有每天需要背的經節, 小若雅背過就會打一個勾勾!
有一張紙上面寫著每天需要背的經節, Pre-K and K和1-6年級需要背的經節都不一樣!
這次他們還有"Hand 2 Hand"的比賽, 就是從星期二開始每天都會都會Collect不同的零錢, Tues: Pennies, Wed: Nickels, Thurs: Dimes, Fri: Quarters, 看哪一個Team的Bottle裡最多就贏了!
"Hand 2 Hand"的活動主要是幫助所需要買的Supplies!
一走進教會就看到一整排的瓶子, 裡面插着不同Team的名字, 你是哪個Team就把今天帶來的Coins倒進去, 看誰最多, 我們每天都把小豬打開找零錢, 小若雅的Team是"Happy Horses"!
這次CVCC VBS的Theme是"SonWest RoundUp", 每天我也發現很有趣的是都有一隻動物, 用那隻動物的特性延伸到上帝的話語, 連Crafts都跟那動物有關來引起小孩子們的興趣!
Unltimate Trust — Cow
Cows provide people with diary products every single day. Giving us animals that provide food reminds us of the ways Jesus provides the things we need.
"I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who beliees in me will never be thirsty." John 6:35
小若雅回家的Crafts就是一隻牛!
Unltimate Power — Lizard
Lizards are cold-blooded — they soak up the sun's power to get warm fast. Lizards need the sun to get the power to move. We need God's power — we get it from Jesus!
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
這隻應該是蛇吧?! 哈哈哈哈哈哈.....
Unltimate Rescue — Horse
A horse can be cowboy or cowgirl's best friend. A horse that knows the way home can take you there. We all need Jesus to rescue us from sin and take us home as members of God's family!
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies." John 11:25
Unltimate Plan — Armadillo
Armadillos don't see well. they are often run over by cars. They need to be rescued from danger. All people need rescue, too. god has a plan for Jesus to rescue us from sin!
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16
小若雅這個禮拜在VBS看起來每天都很開心, 或許是在比較熟悉的環境, 也比較認識老師和朋友們吧?! 只希望小若雅在不同的VBS都可以的學習到上帝的話語!
